FR Contractors recently took on an exterior painting project in Towson, MD, giving a townhouse a fresh, revitalized look in just five days. Our team worked diligently on the brown trim and cedar shake siding, transforming the property’s exterior with quality finishes from Benjamin Moore and Behr. Rebecca, the homeowner and an experienced interior designer, couldn’t have been happier with the outcome—and her feedback says it all!
Background/Story:
Rebecca reached out to us after seeing our work on a client’s home. She wanted to update her own townhouse exterior and was seeking a team that valued quality and respect for her space.
Once we understood her vision, we went to work. Our team carefully prepped and painted the brown trim around her home, then stained the cedar shake siding to give it a warm, inviting tone. We also tackled the cracked caulking and pressure-washed the brick walls, ensuring the entire exterior looked refreshed and cohesive. Rebecca appreciated our crew’s attention to detail and their respectful, professional approach.
Scope of Services:
- Exterior Trim Painting: We scraped, sanded, cleaned, caulked, and applied a coat of Benjamin Moore Aura in Tudor Brown to all the brown trim, bringing a rich, modern finish.
- Cedar Siding Staining: After washing and lightly sanding the cedar shake siding, we applied Behr Waterproofing Wood Finish in Cedar Tone 501, enhancing the home’s natural charm.
- Caulk Repairs: We re-caulked areas with cracked sealant using Quad Sealant to ensure a clean, smooth appearance.
- Pressure Washing: We thoroughly pressure-washed the brick walls, restoring their original look and removing any grime or buildup.

- Behr Waterproofing Wood Finish, Color- Cedar Tone 501 for siding stain
